Outfit worn a few days ago! This was my first time mixing a baseball cap with a vest and jeans! It actually doesn’t look bad! I wore a faux leather jacket with this look, but will share that on another day. I will tweak this in the future to showcase the many hats i have.
Brands worn in this picture are a Chicago Cubs hat by Forty Seven; casual shirt by Aeropostale; vest by Alfani; high rise demi curve jeans by Levis; and dress shoes by Kenneth Cole.
Also known as Irv Kupcinet Bridge! I’ve been coming in this area for many years, and had yet to see it rise, until now!
Attended my first Trump protest today, while out cycling. I enjoyed it, and the people were very friendly. Chicago Police had a ton of bikers alongside this march near River North.
Age group award winner at this weekends race, which was Chicago Quarter Marathon. This race was mentally draining because the race was suppose to be 6.55 miles, but it was off my a lot. I clocked 7.14 miles on my Garmin, and had to make minor tweaks at every mile to keep track of my pace. Very frustrating not knowing how much extra miles we were going to run; I’m just happy that I didn’t set any major goals, but i would liked to have known, and ran on an accurate course to possibly make a goal for next years run. I’ll have to think long and hard about returning now though.
Other than that it was a decent race. Out-and-back course; stocked with plenty of water; well marked, and very simple; and the finish line was stocked with beverages, and bananas.
I love this Saturday combination! I’ve had these jeans for a while now, and wasn’t sure what to wear them with. I will most likely pair them with anything black, brown, or navy blue in the future. But as for now, i love it with my faux leather jacket by Shaun White. The jeans are Brigade Camouflage Nikki Pencil Jeans by David Kahn : )

“To its devotees the bow tie suggests iconoclasm of an Old World sort, a fusty adherence to a contrarian point of view. The bow tie hints at intellectualism, real or feigned, and sometimes suggests technical acumen, perhaps because it is so hard to tie. Bow ties are worn by magicians, country doctors, lawyers and professors and by people hoping to look like the above. But perhaps most of all, wearing a bow tie is a way of broadcasting an aggressive lack of concern for what other people think.” – Warren St John in The New York Times
Below are links to the 1st version featuring this shirt. The only difference is I’m wearing different pants, undershirt, and no crucifixion necklace.
Outfit worn in this picture is a glittering dress shirt by East 5th; faux leather pants by Express; and dress shoes by Kenneth Cole.
Stopped in to Road Runner Sports earlier, and got lost in looking at shoes. Hehe, sorry it’s been a while since I’ve been to a running store. I picked up a few shoes, and was very impressed with them all! Mainly Adidas for coming up, but these six running shoes have my vote for great! I didn’t get a picture of the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080, but feel free to look them up, because their great as well!
The shoes pictured are Saucony Kinvara 7; Hoka Hupana; Hola Arahi; Adidas Ultra Boost; and Saucony Freedom ISO.
I recommend all of these shoes for anyone looking for cushion, weight, and a killer design of a shoe. If your looking for the cheaper of the six mentioned in this post, id go for the Saucony Kinvara 7, but it’s not by much. Check them all out, if you are out looking.
