Button-down flannel gingham plaid shirt

Hola, all! Spring semester starts this week! I just realized that my advisor enrolled me in an Sociology class this semester. I’m actually excited about that because it’s a course that I have wanted for a while, and it actually benefits me in the career path that I’m headed.

As for my apartment search I’m still in the search, and will most likely end my day with at least two new searches to view this week or next.

I have worn this look a few times, but both items are worn regularly and paired rarely. The red button-down flannel gingham plaid shirt is by Gap; and the tiffany blue strauss & co jeans are by Levis brand.

Just took to the streets this afternoon for my first run in 2018! I’m late getting in a run because I have been so busy with work, apartment searching, and preparing for spring semester internship. I went on a simple 2 mile run to Chicago’s Berger Park in Edgewater, and took some great pictures on route. The disappointing thing about his run was that my phone froze after I took my last picture due to the cold weather. I went out like this, but when your use to temperatures below 10 degrees and sometimes in the negatives I welcomed our temperature today which was in the thirties! Crazy huh! Our weather in the mid west is very bipolar, but best believe I was going to take advantage of this change in temperature which probably won’t last long.

Fleece + Corduroy jeans

Sorry guys! I was very late on sharing my details about this outfit because I ended up very busy when I posted it. I ended up picking up some extra hours at work the day that I posted this and got sidetracked. I’m excited about my apartment viewing today, which the apartment is in my actual neighborhood. When I say neighborhood, it’s literally within walking distance, such as I can carry boxes from my apartment to it when I move. This one is a win, and I’m totally going to get it if it’s available : )

Simple look! This is one of my regular outfits, and this fleece has been worn with majority of the jeans I own. I purchased this fleece at a thrift store, after falling in love with it and we have been very inseparable. The same with these corduroy jeans too, which I’m looking for a red or maroon pair : )

Hey, gorgeous people! I have my meeting for spring semester’s practicum site today and I’m sorta nervous because I don’t know what to expect. This is the first milestone step towards the career as a mental health counselor for me, so I’m hoping that it all works out. My overall goal is to work with military, whether that be active duty or veterans with drug or alcohol addictions. Our military veterans truly need any help they can get, and I hope to assist them with adjusting in society, so that they don’t turn to that lifestyle of drug or alcohol addictions.

 

Anyway, this is a simple cute look. This fedora looks amazing with anything black, such as black shirts or a black leather jacket. I plan to turn this into one of my normal looks because this look is so fitting, and it kind of gives off city vibes.
